SOT announces award winners

The 2018 SOT Awardees have been announced. Prizes awarded for contributions to the 3Rs field include:
- The Enhancement of Animal Welfare Award for Anna B. Lowit, US EPA, Washington, DC
- The Merit Award for Robert J. Kavlock, Washington, DC
- The Colgate-Palmolive Award for Student Research Training in Alternative Methods for Ian Huck, University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City, KS and Lauren Lewis, Texas A&M University, College Station, TX
- The Colgate-Palmolive Grant for Alternative Research for Kristen Comfort, University of Dayton, Dayton, OH and Valentina Galbiati, University of Milan, Milan, Italy
- A Best Postdoctoral Publication Award went to Sreenivasa C. Ramaiahgari, NIEHS, Research Triangle Park, NC for a paper on a liver toxicity screening model.
