Animal Welfare Institute accepting applications for Refinement Research Award and Implementing Refinement Grant

The Animal Welfare Institute is accepting applications for their Refinement Research Award and Implementing Refinement Grant until October 11, 2024. 

The Refinement Research Award provides up to US$15,000 toward a research project meant to develop or test innovative methods of refinement to improve the lives of animals in experimentation. The Implementing Refinement Grant provides up to US$8,000 toward the implementation of refinements known to improve the lives of animals in experimentation (i.e., through the purchase of equipment or staff training).
